TRACKED ROUTES software functionalities, for molds repairing in assisted mode.

TRACKED ROUTES allow to perform a welding process in semi-manual guided mode. These software features can be activated directly from the user interface of the SISMA machine. TRACKED ROUTES allow to set the movement of the axes that control the welding optics, in order to follow one or more predefined paths, thus facilitating the reparation processes of the molds, which would otherwise result in complex and not very productive operations to be managed with the joystick manually.

 

Through the microscope (standard in all SISMA SWA and SISMA SWT welders), the operator identifies the key points to follow in the developing of the welding path and acquires them through the software, then he/she starts the execution of TRACKED ROUTES functions to weld using the guide provided by the controlled movement of the axes.

 

The operations that can be performed are:

 

  1. Circular or arc welding: acquisition of three points from which a circle or an arc passes through, subsequently scalable to facilitate concentric filling operations.
  2. Linear and filling welding: two points are acquired to draw a line, spacing between parallel lines or planes can be defined at the same time.
  3. Welding path: up to 250 points that can be acquired and stored on USB.
  4. Welding on a rotating axis: it allows the management of welding when using a 4th axis of movement, considering speed and direction of rotation.

5.      Welding on an inclined plane: acquisition of three points from which a plane passes through, moving the X-Y axes (left – right / forward – backward) the function allows to keep constant the distance between the piece and the welding optic.

 

TRACKED ROUTES are ideal in welding processes for mold reparation. TRACKED ROUTES can be activated in all SISMA SWA and SISMA SWT welders to obtain:

 

  • Increased precision during welding.
  • The increase in productivity, avoiding the continuous interruptions typical of a manual process.
  • Repeatability and reliability of the welding process, even if performed by inexperienced operators.
