Sisma, leading italian manufacturer of DLP 3D printing equipment, opens up its systems to third party resins introducing the compatibility with Power Resins for the jewellery market.
Everes DLP 3D printers recently switched from a closed to an open platform, enabling its users to access the latest materials on the market and source them directly from the resin manufacturers.
Power Resins is a company founded in 2013, specialising in the production of resins and 3D printers.
All the 100% castable and ash-free compatible resins, are the following:
- WAX, is a special wax castable resin for 3d printers that is very similar to wax. It is used for jewelry casting and most specifically for models with stone settings and surface models.
- DARK, has been developed specifically for direct casting of jewelry with high details. It provides perfect casting quality combined with very sharp printing abilities and easy to set stone.
- OPAQUE, is a special 100% ash-free castable resin that is formulated for DLP 3d printers in order to get perfect printing and direct casting quality in jewelry manufacturing. It has an opaque colour and provides perfect detail and surface quality in printing and casting.
- RTV, designed for taking RTV (Room Temperatur Vulcanized) liquid silicone molds.
- Yellow, has been formulated for DLP 3D printers in order to to get perfect printing and direct casting quality in jewelry manufacturing. It has a yellow colour and provides perfect detail and surface quality in printing and casting.
